Salahudin Al Ayoubi Orphanage in Senegal
This Ramadan Give A Hand is helping to rebuild Salahudin Al Ayoubi orphanage in Senegal. Salahudin Al Ayoubi orphanage supports 300 orphans, the orphans are currently all housed in a crowded building that was meant to house 150 people, with your help we are aiming to rebuild one of the buildings so that the orphans can have more space. The building will house 150 orphans and will free up space for the other 150 orphans to be housed in the current building. The orphanage also supports the learning of the orphans. Orphans are fed and clothed and study the Quran.
Give A Hand has been working on this project for the last 2 years and we managed to raise some funds but they were not enough to support the rebuilding of the old collapsed building
The prophet (SAW) said, “I and the person who looks after an orphan and provides for him will be in paradise like this (putting his index and middle finger together)”

Give a Hand have a vision to remove poverty in Africa. To make sure African families are given the opportunity to have an education, access to good healthcare, clean water and a healthy food diet.
Our Mission
To work towards making our vision a reality, we work to provide food to the most vulnerable in African society, including widows, orphans & the elderly. We also want to reduce the high rate of childbirth deaths in rural Africa.
Our Achievements
Give a Hand provide support by building wells and bore holes, schools, shelters and orphanages, as well as providing books and financial assistance for hospital care and equipment to inhabitants from deprived areas, through our fundraising initiatives. We have also helped to build an ultra sound clinic for women from our fundraising initiatives.
Our Future
Most of our work takes place in the Gambia and Senegal, but with your support not only can we do much more in the areas we operate, but we can expand to aid those in need in other parts of Africa.
